Who This Program Helps
We help people who need a temporary mobile phone or have a phone without active service. We are working with mobile providers, manufacturers, and retailers—including Apple, Motorola Mobility, Verizon, Comcast, T-Mobile, Mint Mobile, Walmart Mobile, Boost Mobile, Consumer Cellular, AT&T Mobility, Cricket Wireless, Straight Talk, US Mobile, and Ultra Mobile—to provide temporary access to essential communication.
A working phone can help you stay connected with family and friends and contact banks, financial institutions, stores, hospitals, and government agencies.
What the Temporary Support Provides
Participating mobile companies and retailers provide these phones for up to 30 days. This short-term support is intended to help you meet essential communication needs, reach a safer and more stable situation, and begin regaining control of your daily life.
24 HelpLine Give Back Program
The 24 HelpLine Give Back Program supports people who need a mobile phone for essential communication. Through the program, a temporary phone may become a permanent phone with service paid for up to one year, with no strings attached.
Phone service may be funded in one of three ways:
• A local business owner covers the cost.
• 24 HelpLine contributions to cover the cost.
• A Community Leaders covers the cost.
